Teawerx is a family-run tea company focused on rare and underrepresented powdered teas. What started as a shared love for tea, its history, variety, and the way a single leaf can be transformed in so many directions, became the work itself. 

Stone-ground powdered tea is not a modern invention. It dates back to the Song dynasty, a tradition largely faded and eclipsed today by the rise of matcha. But powdered tea was never meant to be a single thing. As matcha has become ubiquitous, other powdered teas, with their own histories, regions, and flavor profiles, have been left behind.

Teawerx exists to reintroduce what's been forgotten. By visiting farms and working directly with producers, we seek out powdered teas lost to history. Teas that deserve to be tasted again. As we grow, we aim to curate a collection of powdered teas selected with care and intention: versatile, underexplored, and genuinely good.
